Daydreaming
I often talk about how I like to take photos with a certain surreal tone—without relying on any kind of digital manipulation. This dreamy image was created through a manual composition process: a sort of analog collage using various physical elements—a printed photo I took of birds, glasses of water, and sunlight.
This photo was made for the Fotografar Palavras (1) project. I’m grateful for being given Catarina Vale's beautiful text, which inspired this creative process:
“If we don’t allow ourselves to dream, how can we live love?”
(1) . Fotografar palavras - to turn word into photography. Project: Paulo Kellerman.
